Our History
Founded before the pandemic started, Lori’s Paint was founded by a bunch of friends in NYC who would get together every so often to relax and paint the night away (with some wine). It was a blast, and our small circle grew more and more each and every week. However once the pandemic hit, our small group of friends could no longer meet in person and instead would have to meet over zoom. We would plan out ahead of time and order the painting kits so that everyone would have them by the time our meeting took place. However we noticed that sometimes the painting kits we would order online were not that great quality as compared to what we were used to, so we started to speak with the manufacturers directly in order to score us a better deal and some better quality painting kits. We eventually found the best supplier for our group of friends, and quickly found out that these painting kits and accessories were not only the cheapest, but also the best quality products found anywhere. This is how Lori’s Paint was formed.
We wanted everyone to experience what we felt through our experience with painting and the pandemic. Our little circle of people who just wanted to meet others who shared a similar hobby turned out to be some of the greatest people we have ever met. It was through the joys of painting that this friendship was found. Lori’s Paint wants to give everyone the chance to experience the true joy and benefits one can have through art.
How we do what we do (Custom Paint by Numbers Kit)
At Lori’s Paint, we use proprietary image capturing techniques to turn your photo into a custom paint by numbers canvas. By utilizing our technology along with our painting expertise from our inhouse painters, we are able to provide a high quality Custom Paint by Number Canvas with the most premium quality paint on the market.
Please note that the higher the quality of the photo, the easier it is to process. The smallest side of your photo should not be less than 750 pixels. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us at info@lorispaint.com for our input.
It is recommended from our in house painters to use a photo with a simple background. The simpler the background, the more colors you can use on the actual subject.
We provide up to 36 different colors to help bring your photo to life. Our computer algorithm automatically identifies the shade and exact color that is needed for the photo that you have submitted.
