Multi Tiered Affiliate Programs

Multi-tier affiliate is a type of affiliate/commission structure commonly used in affiliate marketing where master affiliates are not only rewarded for their own sales, but also for the sales made by the sub-affiliates allowing affiliates to exponentially grow their commission revenue.

In a multi tiered affiliate program (two or more levels), the first tier of commission is the same as in a regular program. The only difference is the additional tiers where affiliates also earn a commission on sales generated by people they referred to the program. So if you refer someone to join our program, you will receive a commission of all sales your affiliate brings in.

Example Scenario 1

Let’s look at an example scenario where Jessica is a Master Affiliate at Lori’s Paint.

1. Jessica signs up as an affiliate. 
2. Jessica invites Jackie to become an affiliate. 
3. Jackie invites Paul to become an affiliate. 
4. Paul invites Kate to become an affiliate.

Kate now brings in a referral order of $100 and earns $10 in commission at a 10% commission rate.

Paul receives 5% of the order value which is 5% x $100 = $5, because Paul invited Kate to join the program.

Jackie receives 2% of the order value which is 2% x $100 = $2, because Jackie invited Paul to the program.

Jessica receives 1% of the order value which is 1% x $100 = $1, because Jessica invited Jackie to the program.

In this scenario all affiliates will get a commission of all sales that their sub affiliates brings in allowing for exponential growth in your earning potential.
